I must admit I have a bit of a girl crush on Jennifer Morris.
I have never met her but I feel like I know her or at least a part of her by the gorgeous earrings she creates. They are fabulously feminine and the detail is exquisite.
Looky what I found in my garden this morning, my first ripe strawberry. Sadly, there was a casualty, one smaller strawberry on a broken branch but it will ripen in the house - fingers crossed.
This is one of the newest shots by industry friend, photographer Mario Miotti. He just sent it to me and I had to post it.
Checkout my new shoes! I have been a fan of the Brazilian made Melissa shoes for a few years and when I saw these little cuties I jumped up and down right there in the store. Designed by the first woman laureate of the Pritzker Prize for architecture, Zaha Hadid constantly pushes the boundaries of urban design. They are plastic but don't let that worry you because they are truly comfortable and affordable! These Mary Janes are similar to the ones designed by Vivienne Westwood for Melissa only I opted for a wedge heel. Love the architectural lines, love the shine, and love, love, love colour.

Today I feel like baking cookies. I don't do this often- mainly because I am not a great baker - but I think I've pretty much perfected a recipe for rosemary shortbread cookies and soon it will be too hot out and so the idea of turning on the stove and sweating over cookie dough wont be that appealing. Also, my friend Richard hinted, once again, that he would really like some cookies as the last batch I sent to his house was eaten entirely by his husband.
I’ve decided, cake is the new cupcake. And if you need further convincing then just look at this cake form Sarah Magids new book, Organic and chic.
The latest issue of New Outlook & Family Outlook have several pages styled by moi, this is one of my favourites.
Up until this year my iris bulbs struggled to produce perhaps 4 stalks and then it would rain and those stalks would collapse into the mud. This year however they exploded. I now have dozens of big, beautiful irises and I can't stop looking at them. I have staked them, gently watered them, and was caught by the garbageman as I ran outside in my nightgown to chase squirrels away from them. I don't care, they make me smile.
I found this picture of my sweet friend Rhonda Riche and I love it so much I just have to post it. If you are lucky enough to know Rhonda then you know just how much this picture captures her spirit. And, she is not just a pretty face, she is also a cornucopia of information on various topics and hilarious to boot. Need proof, check out her blog for yourself.
This was a great day. I got to work with flowers and photographer Daniel Harrison.
I love shark pants. Okay, the guy helps sell them but come on - shark pants!

Complete fabulousness from.Byron Lars Beauty Mark.
Hello outdoor room of my dreams. Photo by Vincent Leroux, Temps Machine.

Ah animals, I just love them and here are just two reasons why. First, Lily – the love of my life – in her new bed and, Ronnie James Dio who lives with my friends Rhonda and Andrew.
Mays issue of Vogue India included a most fabulous fashion story featuring Lakshmi. I want to summer, hot weather, I want to be this woman. Photos by Jean Francois Campos.
